Injury Prevention & Recovery
Prevention is the key to overall wellness
Our team of Occupational Therapists engages with employers and employees to collaboratively identify concerns in the workplace, and provide recommendations for effective and on-going ergonomic solutions, promoting health and well-being.
Our team is equipped to assist in the development of strategies including increasing overall awareness of common injuries in the workplace, identifying potential ergonomic risks, and implementing solutions to mitigate the risk of workplace injury.
Occupational Therapy Services
Bridges Health’s ergonomics training is designed to help employees understand the importance of correct ergonomics in the prevention of injury and enable them to apply ergonomic principles in the setup and maintenance of their workstation. Our training provides participants with basic ergonomics education and awareness through a hands-on approach to ensure participants understand the principles of ergonomics and possess the ability to identify, mitigate, and control risks.
Participants will learn how to help prevent common injuries and will be provided with strategies to problem solve difficult situations. The goal of this training is to provide a safer workplace, reduce the risk of injury in the workplace, and in turn, improve the wellness of all employees.
