Mental Health First Aid in Agriculture

April 10, 2018

In a survey of Canadian farmers, 45% reported high stress, 58% reported anxiety, and 35% reported depression.

40% will not seek help.

Today Bridges Health is in Tisdale, SK facilitating Mental Health First Aid in Agriculture. With the busy seeding season right around the corner, it is important for us to recognize the serious implications stress can have on our overall health!

We must end the stigma in rural areas where #resources are scarce, and cases of mental illness are high. Thank you to all who are getting certified in MHFA in Ag today, and to all sponsors who made it possible!
